Sign Up Options
Recap supports two ways to create your account:
- Sign in with Apple — uses your Apple ID for fast, private authentication
- Sign in with Google — uses your Google account
What Happens After Sign-In
Once you sign in, you'll be asked to enter your display name. This is the name that other users will see on your profile and alongside your videos in the feed.
After entering your name, you'll land on the home feed — the main screen of the app where all your videos appear.
Account Details
Your account is linked to the email address associated with your Apple ID or Google account. You can view your account details at any time by going to Settings > Account Details.
Privacy
Recap never shares your email address with other users. Your profile can be discovered by others based on your display name and your profile visibility settings.
