Required Permissions
Recap needs certain permissions to function:
- Camera — required for recording video
- Microphone — required for recording audio
Optional Permissions
- Location — used for tagging events with venue information and generating location-aware content in Recaps. Requested during event completion.
- Photo Library — used for profile photo selection and local video export. Requested when you access these features.
Managing Permissions
Go to Settings > App Permissions to open the iOS Settings page for Recap, where you can grant or revoke any permission.
If you previously denied a permission, you'll need to re-enable it through iOS Settings — the app cannot re-request a denied permission.
