What Is Kid Mode?
Kid Mode locks the Settings screen behind a PIN, preventing children from accidentally changing account settings, logging out, or accessing features they shouldn't.
Enabling Kid Mode
- Go to Settings
- Toggle Kid Mode on
- Set a 4-digit PIN
- Settings are now locked
What's Locked
When Kid Mode is active:
- All settings are hidden behind the PIN lock screen
- The camera and home feed remain fully accessible
- Recording and viewing videos works normally
- Only the Settings screen is restricted
Unlocking
To access Settings while Kid Mode is active:
- Open Settings
- Tap Unlock
- Enter your PIN
- Settings are temporarily unlocked for this session
Disabling Kid Mode
Once unlocked, toggle Kid Mode off in Settings to disable it permanently. You can re-enable it at any time with a new PIN.
