Typical Processing Times
Processing times depend on the output type and the length of your recording:
- Full Event — 5-10 minutes (fastest, mostly encoding)
- Highlights — 10-15 minutes (encoding + commentary generation)
- AI Highlights — 15-20 minutes (AI analysis + commentary + encoding)
- Recap — 20-30 minutes (includes aerial intro, pundit generation, commentary, and encoding)
What Affects Processing Time
Several factors can influence how long processing takes:
- Recording length — longer recordings take longer to process
- Number of goals/moments — more clips means more encoding and commentary
- Server load — during busy periods, jobs may queue briefly before starting
- AI service demand — Google's AI services (Gemini, Veo) may experience high demand, which can slow image and video generation steps. When this happens, you'll see an orange banner on your processing cards
- Output type — Recaps involve the most AI generation steps
Can I Close the App?
Yes. Processing happens entirely in the cloud. You can close the app, and your videos will continue processing. You'll see them in your feed when they're ready.
Stuck Processing?
If a job appears stuck for an extended period (over an hour), it may have encountered an error. Check the processing details for error messages, and use the Retry option to re-submit.
