Record Button
The large red button at the bottom of the screen controls recording:
- Tap once to start recording (after orientation confirmation)
- Tap again to pause
- Tap again to resume
Zoom
Use a pinch gesture on the camera preview to zoom in and out. The zoom level persists during recording.
End Session
When you're finished recording, tap the End Session button. This stops the recording and takes you to the event completion flow.
If you've recorded clips and want to cancel instead, you'll see a confirmation dialog warning you that clips will be lost.
Dismissing the Camera
If you haven't recorded anything yet, you can swipe down to dismiss the camera and return to the home feed.
If clips have been recorded, you'll need to explicitly cancel via the confirmation dialog.
